What is your professional experience?

I have worked for the city and the county. I am currently working for Indiana American Water

What is your public office experience?

have run before but not held office

I have also ran for Monroe township trustee board and Delaware county commissioner for dist 1

What are the specific skills that you bring to the position for which you are running?

I have experience with municipal and public budgets. I am a problem solver and will work on finding creative ways to help the county

What are your top 3 priorities if you are elected?

1- creating more awareness for county issues 2- help bring new ideas to help with the budget 3- get a democrat in our county offices!!

How do your values motivate your run for office?

I am a public servant that always shows integrity no matter the party affiliation I work for. I have been able to work with all parties while still holding true to my values

We recognize that some elected positions may not have a direct role in addressing some of these issues, but if you had an opportunity to have an impact, what would you want that to be?

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support the rights of

a. LGBTQ+ individuals?

I will always be a safe ally and stand up for ALL

b. people with disabilities?

When I worked at the courtyard by Marriott, i worked closely with people with disabilities. I will always be an advocate

c. people experiencing poverty?

I was a young single mom that experienced many hardships. I have the compassion and empathy to help with resources

d. immigrants?

I have always been supportive of immigration and allowing those to gain citizenship. I do not support the mass deportation efforts

e. people who are racial or ethnic minorities/minoritized individuals?

I support and value ALL people and will represent them proudly

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support voter access? (This might include your position on vote centers, polling hours, voter IDs, signature matching, the SAVE act, etc.)

I will be sure to make sure everyone in Delaware county know about the voting centers. I love anything to help with voting. I would like to see more early voting places

In recent months, federal agencies have overstepped the power of local and state governments. In what contexts would you support resistance by local officials?

Peaceful protests and reminding people who they vote for. I would never encourage physical resistance.

In recent months, federal agencies have overstepped the constitutional rights of the people. How would you protect and defend our constitutional rights?

Protesting is the best way

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support healthcare access for all?

The office I am seeking doesn’t deal a lot with this, however if possible, I would love to have more mental health access to our inmates and our county residents

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to address affordability of

housing costs?

I’d like to see more emphasis on tearing down blight and building affordable homes in those areas instead of expanding into our farmland and rural areas

food costs?

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support discussion about science, history, and gender as necessary parts of educating children in our schools?

I will always support all of that in our education.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support public education?

I am not a supporter of the charter or private schools getting our public school money

What do you think should be Indiana’s priority in terms of the electrical grid and energy generation sources? What have you done and/or what do you commit to do regarding a clean energy economy?

We need more renewable resources. I would like to see more solar or wind energy produced here

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to make your specific area of government more transparent to your constituents?

I will always answer honestly and make sure I publicly ask the questions and make the public aware
