Crack down on more drug arrest. More patrol officers. Better trained officers.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support the rights of

a. LGBTQ+ individuals?

b. people with disabilities?

I see more people in today’s society with mental disorders. Better trained officers when dealing with these individuals .

c. people experiencing poverty?

We need more programs to help.

d. immigrants?

My grandmother was an immigrant. I don’t work for the federal government. I work for the people of Delaware County. ICE is not a local law enforcement.

e. people who are racial or ethnic minorities/minoritized individuals?

Im for whatever makes it easier to vote.

In recent months, federal agencies have overstepped the power of local and state governments. In what contexts would you support resistance by local officials?

The Sheriff is the highest ranking law enforcement officer in the county. I don’t agree with a federal agency coming here to violate rights.

I worked in the Muncie School Corporation for 18 years as a resource officer. I believe the need for students and police interaction is important.
