About the event
On June 24, 2002, the US Supreme Court decided in Dobbs v. Jackson states that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; and, the authority to regulate abortion is “returned to the people and their elected representatives.”
Indiana immediately outlawed almost all abortion procedures. This has had a devastating impact on Hoosiers.
Bodies on the Line examines the history of the abortion rights movement. According to The New York Times Book Review, “Bodies on the Line tells the stories of communities that came together . . . to offer patients comfort and protection . . . The book comes at a critical moment for the constitutional right to abortion in the United States . . . The very need for clinic escort teams is a testament to the inability of current laws to secure safe, comfortable care for patients.”
The first 10 people to register will receive a free book. You must commit to attending the event to receive your book.
