What are the specific skills that you bring to the position for which you are running?

Relating to people of all means. Understanding how government operates. Finding answers/solutions for residents of Center Township

What are your top 3 priorities if you are elected?

Reaching all people in need of services. Build on the success of Lone Pine Lodge transitional housing. New playground equipment for Mansfield and Chambers Parks.

How do your values motivate your run for office?

Community involvement, equal treatment, respect for all. Muncie is my home.

Key Issues

We recognize that some elected positions may not have a direct role in addressing some of these issues, but if you had an opportunity to have an impact, what would you want that to be?

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support the rights of

a. LGBTQ+ individuals?

We have an adult LGBTQ+ child so it's quite natural in our life to be supportive

b. people with disabilities?

Spoke at Council meetings on handicap access on sidewalks. Advocated for wheel chair confined individual to decide what's best for him.

c. people experiencing poverty?

People needing help is what this office provides and why I chose to be involved in this area

d. immigrants?

My experience with growers/farmers shows the need they have for workers and responsibility they endure to Government reporting difficulties. I have done business in eleven countries so I'm comfortable being around other cultures.

e. people who are racial or ethnic minorities/minoritized individuals?

My family is very diverse, it's normal to promote acceptance.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support voter access? (This might include your position on vote centers, polling hours, voter IDs, signature matching, the SAVE act, etc.)

Registered voters, Absentee Voters, Travel Board Voters, Vote Centers, Early Voting. Oppose SAVE Act, as it's goal is to restrict voting access.

In recent months, federal agencies have overstepped the power of local and state governments. In what contexts would you support resistance by local officials?

Complete resistance to the illegal efforts of Federal and State Government

In recent months, federal agencies have overstepped the constitutional rights of the people. How would you protect and defend our constitutional rights?

Stand with Officials who support and push back. Like "NO KINGS" protests

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support healthcare access for all?

Support candidates that promote healthcare access for all. Everyone has a Right to a healthy life. Support Save America's Rural Hospitals Act

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to address the affordability of

housing costs?

Support increase housing supply (more availability & options help rental cost) and programs for first time purchasers. Home owners are the strength of our communities.

food costs?

Raised the eligible income level of individual/family to help more people qualify for services.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support discussion about science, history, and gender as necessary parts of educating children in our schools?

Opposed Tax Dollars going to Charter/Private Schools. Support Public Education by sending my two children through Muncie Community Schools living and working locally paying taxes and promoting their success.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to support public education?

Continuing to oppose Tax Dollars to Charter/Private School. Supporting Public School programs.

What do you think should be Indiana’s priority in terms of the electrical grid and energy generation sources? What have you done and/or what do you commit to do regarding a clean energy economy?

Renewable clean sources must be the way forward to save our water & air quality. Indiana has major pollution problems. Support Solar Panel installation over Brown Fields. Wind Turbines.

What have you done and/or what do you commit to doing to make your specific area of government more transparent to your constituents?

Our meetings are always open to the public. We now broadcast meetings Live on YouTube.
